If your file expired more than 3 years ago, you have two options for renewing your Certification.
- You may start over as an initial applicant by submitting the application, fee, and verification (official transcripts) of a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college/university. You will lose credit for any CEUs that are in your expired file unless you can produce copies of them. The new evaluation will be based on current requirements.
- You may renew your certificate, however, there is an additional $25 fee in addition to the application fee because your certificate has been expired for more than 3 years. Attached is an unofficial copy of your certificate. The first section at the bottom of the page lists your requirements to renew; the second section lists what you need in total to upgrade. If you choose this option, you will need to attach either your renewal or upgrade requirements to the application.
The application and instructional video can be found here.
